My treasured memories of my wonderful son & best friend Chris: - how you loved your sister Katie - your passion for sports - how you constantly told us to "cheer up" - your compassion for others - your list writing (just like this one) - your love of Manchester United - how you cuddled your mum (always just at the right time) - how you enjoyed Formula 1 and your support for the British Driver's - your passion for your creative design work - your extensive knowledge of the beautiful game - your love of New York City and your desire to live and work there - you getting your degree - how you loved a good night out with your friends - your fondness of Ellie May - how you and I watched NFL together on cold winter Sunday nights - your ability to cook a superb meal - how you hated hugs from your dad (not a manly thing to do) - your strange taste in music - your wide circle of friends - when you came home in a foul mood when your team had been beaten - how you were my personal "rock" in a crisis - Soccer am - how you loved "a bit of Frank" - how it took you so long to get ready to go out - watching you kick your ball around in the back garden - sleepless nights wondering where you where - the one and only time I saw you cry as a young man - our private moments and secrets together - your strength and dignity you showed during your illness - your wonderful "cheeky" smile These things are just a few of my memories of our wonderful times together my son - I miss and shed tears for you every day, you will always be at the forefront of my mind as long as I live my friend - your heartbroken Dad xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
